Greetings...

I am super lazy these days...but here we go...
I use to keep my blog up to date, then I don't know, my engine blew in my Ralliart Colt & I was just over cars.
Which I have two broken Colts...one is almost together here https://www.facebook.com/wpn15/
I've kept the leggy going, doing bits and pieces.
It's at the age where it needs a lot more TLC.
I'm undecided whether to offload it OR spend coin and keep it long term.
Which I wouldn't mind, except mum can't drive it.
And I find I'm wanting a Delica. I would keep them all but with the every increasing regos I seriously hate parting with money to our fen gov. I could rant on forever about this...

I've somehow ended up with TomTom's car. A Type S in A71D aka Hamilton silver (M) A71.
One of the best-based cars and well maintained in WA. I think it took me over 2-3 years of on/off looking.
Then BAM!
It was lost at an auction house. Went in before work, came back in the arvo and swiped the CC.
Overpaid I feel, but they don't negotiate on prices. $10k. I reckon it could have gone for $8-8.5k
Within 1 day of ownership, the alternator shat itself. Which was the world's worst job ever in replacing.
As an import, you don't get a warranty. Plus, I don't think I even wanted them to touch the car. So I did it myself.
I don't trust mechanics.
A month or so saw the radiator top tank crack.
The rest has been maintenance tasks.
Steering rack boots twice, because 3rd party brands sell absolutely rubbish. YES I'M LOOKING AT YOU FEBEST.
I've just purchased a COP kit from Chris.
As it's missing a lot.

What else? Getting a lot of blow by, I need to install a proper catch can. New mounts and bushes.
Exhaust flex pipe is leaking I believe.
New driver side seat belt, its getting jammed.
Replace tailgate as the previous owner dented it + new struts.
If I'm keeping it, timing belt kit + maybe some cams while I'm at it.
Then a needed tune, hopefully, TME will come to visit + 3port.
Rear rotors and pads, in stock.
New coilovers sooner or later.
Maybe get rid of the AYC just in case.
Bypass the auto cooler that routes into the radiator, I don't trust it.
New front bar or repair.
Another detail.
Intake piping replacement.
Auto box seems to hunt / over rev...

I also tinker with a camera http://leklawbleu.com/

The detailing is quite impressive! Good stuff you do your own work on cars and well documented. Keep it up!
Also partsouq.com is a good for OEM parts they give you equivalent when available.
