Seems to have been remaped in Japan at some stage... when I purchase an OP2 cable I will be able to tell you if its still readable or not. There were some stickers that I guess hinted at voiding warranty on the edge of the casing, BUT there is no mention of company name (unless its in the Japanese text)

Lee, the sticker says something like -

"This product is for competition purposes only, not to be used on public roads. If the computer lid is opened then the after service is void."

Sounds like the usual disclaimer, and I guess that 'after service' either means the warranty, or any follow up tweaking of the maps.

OOOwww, Nice lil KSROM ECU, will just need to tune the fuel maps to run optimised for 98RON rather than its current 100RON Maps.

Would it be possible to get a copy of the ROM files before you get it retuned to run on 98 RON ?? Would be handy for working out boost table locations !!!

The H8 ECU is very similar to 7202, because the maps of this H8 chipset haven't been pulled apart yet, its a bit of an unknown quantity, we're assuming its the prototype for the MH7202, the board architecture is identical to a MH7202, it was produced in very limited numbers.

It is a standard ECU, that was produced at around the same time as the introduction of the MH7202.

Lee's particular H8 has been re-flashed by KSROM in Japan (similar to MINES ecu's except that they don't remove the chipset and replace it with another by desoldering from the board) so its a aftermarket "flashed" performance ecu that would have replaced Lee's original 7202 ECU !!

Can connect with evoscan and log, but ECU Flash 1.42 is no good - sad panda as KS Rom secrets remain just that it seems... and I need a new ECU

Well have tried ECUFlash 1.38, 1.41, 1.42 and even 1.43 beta with both 1.3M and 2.0 cables - no dice!
