I recently installed one of these in my MCCS equipped VR4 so I thought Id write a short review.

Specs
-Half din
-Plays DVD, VCDs and CD, Mpeg4 (DIVX, can be a bit fussy thought) and mp3.
-Front USB
-Front SD slot
-Remote control Extender sensor
-Switchable Pal/NTSC (the MCCS needs NTSC)
-Two AV inputs
Pros
-Region free
-Seems to convert PAL dvds to NTSC, can watch Aussie DVDs on the MCCS in colour
-Remembers what track and where in the track, so when you start the car, it resumes from where you were.
- IR Remote extender gives you good install flexibility
- has two AV inputs so you can still plug in your MP3 player (or ipod if you are a fashion victim)
-cheap (AU$110 delivered)
Cons
-Only takes 8gb SD or USB (no Hard Drives)
-Output volume resets to a default volume after a restart (sucks)
-Mp3 only, no FLAC or wav
-Mp3 sound quality is very average, DVD and CD sound good.
Install
Easy to wire, needs power, acc and ground, then RCAs back to your Tuner AV input. I installed mine under the cassette deck in the sunglasses holder. Mine sticks out about half an inch because I wanted to be able to get at it. Also the unit is very deep so having it stick out made the install easier. It turned out looking very neat. You may also want to “fix” your MCCS so it doesn’t blank the screen when you drive, otherwise you can’t see the track listings.
Use
Works like it was factory. Start the car, MCCS boots, remembers that you had it set to
TV-VTR. Player boots and resumes playing wherever it was when you turned it off.
