Hi,

I want to check the error codes regarding the problems I am having with AYC/ABS etc.

I have done a fairly thorough search and can only find oblique references to how this is done. I know I need to ground pin 1 of the OBD connector.

Can someone put a something in the guides with a good description and picture of exactly where this is, how it is done etc. Of course if I am just a poor searcher and there is already a guide can someone point me to it?

thanks

Marty I've got a diagram showing the pins in the Diagnostic Connector here. You need to earth Pin 1 with Pin 4 (ground) :)

OK thanks.

A few more questions.

Your diagram says pin 9 is bottom right, looks like bottom left to me.

Where is that connector?

I connect pin 4 and 1. Ok What next?

Make sure you have the plug oriented correctly - you can see the clip on the bottom and the shape of the connector outside the pin grid.

Where is that connector?
You should be able to find it just below the steering wheel column.

I connect pin 4 and 1. Ok What next?
Then you turn your key to the 'on' position and your AYC light will flash with AYC error codes.
