I was at a mates place when his dad showed up saying there was huge hail coming, bolted round the corner home while getting hit by a couple.

Got the car under the pine tree (apparently the a4 is more important and gets the garage) and had a picnic rug over the back half and used steves idea of doona over the bonnet for extra protection.

everyone get under cover?

I literally just moved house, my old house didn't have a garage, and 1/2 hour before the storm hit moved my car to the new carport, timing was amazing...

Same here, just got home from Uni about a 1/2hr before the storm hit, very lucky.

We got absolutely raped at Work.

Out the back hail came through the roof. The workshop basically is flooded. Water is even in the office and has effected the equipment out the back, wheel alignment machine and also the computer server.

Hail out the front and THROUGH THE ROOF INTO THE WORKSHOP has caused damage to our cars and customers cars. The toll includes...
Work Commonwhore (cracked windscreen, broken side windows)
Work Triton (Cracked windscreen, hail damage)
Customers Mercedes Benz C-Class (cracked windscreen)
Brand new un-licensed Hilux (Hail damage EVERYWHERE, broken window)
Workers Cars (4 in total, 3 with bodywork damage and one with bodywork damage and a cracked windscreen)

And probably more.

I hope my car is okay in the compliance workshop in Midvale!

My sisters car (in Como) has a smashed windscreen and hail damage. And my mate was about to buy a Nissan Terrano, the sunroof has now been smashed and there is water damage inside.

Yep, not a wonderful afternoon...

hmm reports of damage everywhere. it seems fisher has been having fun in his new 100 series but his mums brand new outback (that he had at his house while his folks are away and wasnt supposed to be driving) is fucked up. big lol

my dad saw a car at bunnings ruined, smashed windscreen and windows, golf ball sized dents all through the bonnet.

my mates have just moved out, every window in their living room is smashed and theyre walking round in shoes. the skylight got smashed too

como must have copped it cause a mates dad had his living room windows smashed too.

I'm in baldivis and didin't really get any hail at all.
Heaps of rain but missed the worst of it.

Wow... Sounds like freo got off easy

I live in Como and there was nothing major in my area... Leggy is save in the garage till Friday =)

I got home about 2 hours before it hit. Parked out the front but the hail seemed to miss our place (Alexander Heights). Happy about that. Our fleet of PathWest/Mortuary cars was hit hard. About 80% of the vehicles written off. Some of them less than 2 weeks old! Car parks at SCGH full of stripped trees, broken glass, and hundreds of cars missing windows & tail lights, & kinda looking like golf balls.
