Just wondering if anyone has used/ is using N20 with their VR4?
ZEX have several wet kits, as well as a kit specifically for turbo applications .
As long as you don't get too silly with the the jet sizes( AND not going too high with the boost- prob 9-10psi max), wouldn't a 35-50hp shot would arguably be the best bang for buck mod you might do?.
I know some of the Club VR4 guys have used it....what are your thoughts peoples?:D

Jeez, you only just got the car and already looking at nitrous options :D

Most people just go for a few breathing mods first :)

lol Stephen, I'm just curious....car already has CAI, filter, 3 inch cat back and fujitsubo...had a hi-flow cat but got ditched for compliance. Before it got complied (almost 4 weeks) , it was sitting at my place for 1 month, so i did manage to ..um...'test drive ' it lol...

Nitrous is just pointless imho. It's only usable for drag racing and doesn't make your car go faster at all 99.99% of the time.

I would get an ECU or something that you can use all the time.

Nitrous doesnt really get much respect in NZ.. In the states and uk its a more acceptable thing to do..

For my money though, you are still better to go for the proven boost control / exhaust / intercooler piping & Fuel control in that order.

There is plenty of info on NO2 at clubvr4, but i dont know any of it, because i have never really entertained it as an option. I could never see myself messing around with bottles and switches and what not. High boost and low boost seemed more sensible to me.

Also with the size of the turbos in the VR4, you can get some very solid torque and low-mid power from upping the boost, which is great for that kick-in-the-pants feeling.

This was my graph from a couple of years ago. All i had that stage was a pod filter (i know not good on the VR4..) and an electronic boost controller. I thought it was the greatest thing ever:)
