Welcome Tobias.

Am i right in reading that the Series 2 legnum there is making ~230Kw?
If so what mods?

Nice whip mate! Love the seats and rims.

That FL is making 179 from what the read out says.

Hey there Tobias. That's quite a nice looking car you've got there, Some nice mods along with some awesome rims.

Some interesting info you've got on you're site too. What ECU are you and your friend running in your Legnums?

Welcome Tobias!

Great looking car and as per Steve's comments, I really like the rims you've got.

@all
thanks for the nice comments

@cittris
at the moment we are at 218kw, because we oly drive 98octan fuel. on 100octan there are some horespowers more :-) than we have nearly 230kw.
also we have lowered the ignition at higher loads because if outside temp. is 25°C or more, the cooling eff. from the original intercooler is very bad.
for security we have done some ignition retard.

@snickells
we are running original ecu´s with rom-id 20030011. only modifications at the cars are big exhaust and air-filter.
bigger problems we have at the german "autobahn" because if you drive a bit longer with 200km/h or more, the oil-temp. jumps very fast to 130°C.
for this we have to install some oil-cooler in the future.

greetings

That might be my problem with my car overheating around the track, especially down the back straight at Pukekohe where speeds get up to 235kmh or so. Do your water temps stay in check?

@bradc
water is everytime ok. only oil temps run higher and higher.
f.e. oil temp is 95°C (normal at fast driving), than you drive 40sec on full throttle with speed of 200kmh/+
than you see the 130°C or more and it takes very very long to cool it down. i think that on circuit there is no chance to drive without big oil-cooler.

on this you see, that the car was not build to run longer periods on high speed. but with original speed-limiter of 180km/h there is no problem :-)

welcome... and you've nice car there..

I have a feeling that we should have oil coolers installed in our cars.. regardless if we were to drive 180km/h or 200km/h+

I'd rather have that extra accessories for peace of mind..
