EBC will only take about an hour. You need the EBC power wires connected, vacuum line to the new boost solenoid then out the other side back to the standard nipple, solenoid to EBC connection wired in, plug standard solenoid vacuum line, and boost pressure line from the plenum to the EBC if it displays boost.... Fairly straight forward and way easier to set correct boost :)

Just updated this with some further details to make it a bit easier for you install lol..... To get through the firewall, i drilled a new hole next to where the accelerator cable comes through the firewall and used silastic to seal the hole :)

Haha what size should I grab? :)

The size that fits your hoses of course ;)

I couldn't tell you without seeing it but most are the same size.... The guy in the shop should be able to match it for you anyways

I might write a how to guide on this i think lol

Good to see this alive and kicking!

The reason why Ivan and I took so long is that our kit was the prototype, which required the brackets to be re-drilled, measurements taken for the final kit to be adjusted, etc. as well as photographs taken along the way.

We also had to fit and check the other mods such as the Trasko Oil Filter (changeable internal filter medium), replace my BOV and muck around with the supplied power steering cooler (should be fine for the final kit) which actually took a lot of time. Also, my front bar has a broken bracket (driver side wheel well) so it's always fiddly to reattach (dead easy to remove).

That's where the ten-eleven hours went. Got to love jumping in the deep end!

Well everything has to start somewhere!

If we didnt have people doing things on their own or trying out stuff, we wouldnt make much progress in anything to do with our cars :p

Tom,

what are you doing about the rest of the soft pipe? I thought you were chasing a complete metal piping kit?

You do realise that you will be still left wite same rubber hoses in your engine bay...?

If its the one pictured in this thread you will still have the same piping in the enginebay....

As i said in the PM there are no kits that fit 100% at the moment that replace all piping...

you will need to get the other peices fabricated and could be exy depending on whos in your area and you want quality of work too, the one on the drivers side to the Y pipe is quite a tricky sucker to fabricate up
