Front/Rear Strut & Shock Compatibility

It's not too rough. I mean your occasional pothole and you kind of hold on for dear life but that's normal for us Midwesterners. I like to take mine to the track and I'm a fast driver already, she handles beautifully through the turns. Mine do have an option to soften the dampener or hardening it, going full soft is a much better ride but less handling on the big turns.

I have already replaced all of the front control arms, bushings and sway bar lengths as well. I just turned 80,000 km yesterday.

Next year we should meet up in South Beloit at the Blackhawk Raceway. It's about a 2-hour ride from you and me.

Checks out, white-knuckles when I'm in downtown with my lowered 7-series xD

I'm so down to meet up for a track day. I don't have any track cars atm, regardless, I'd still visit!

You can definitely bring the Legnum on the track.

The cracked rim was wrapped with 225/40R18. And was using the ISC coil overs. I had two sets of springs for the coilovers but cant remember what i was running when i cracked it.

One set was 8kg (i was young and silly wanting a soft ride... Instant regret). The second pair i eventually switched to were 10kg cos everyone else said they were ok, but still didnt feel right to me cos of weight over the front.

Now running 235/45R17 and using the MCA coilovers with the higher spring rates. Thicker wall is definitely more forgiving.

But it's not just the bumps tbh, have way more confidence to throw it into a corner at speed with the newer coilovers.

The rear used to be very skatey too, much better now but I've also been trying different wheel alignments. So lots of variables.

But its really all subjective and the dampers on my new coilovers are fundamentally better than my old ones. Ymmv.
