Hey guys just wanted to know if any 1 knows how many litre tanks r in VR4 Galant 99model

supposedly 60, but in real life you don't want to use more than 55 because if you go up a hill you will be rolling to a stop :)

I've never put more than 48.5 ltrs in. And even that was with up to 25+ kms of driving on empty.

52 is about the most i've filled, and that was after the light was on for some time..

Ok well there has to be sumthing wrong with my gauge i put $60 in it & didnt even go over half on gauge. Thanks guys.

LOL Trevor. $60 = what, 35 l if you are lucky?? that prob wouldnt put it over half way, esp if you were running on empty before hand. The fuel gauge isnt perfect for reflecting how much fuel is there, between full and empty line it drops pretty quickly.

I make it a habit of filling up when the fuel warning light comes on and usually put between 46 and 48 litres in it. Normally get close to 400 km from the tank depending on the number of shorter trips and the number of people in the car. Always heaps better down the highway for a longer trip.

i find my fuel light is on after 300 lately, sometimes just over. Im actually sitting outside apc getting the safc tuned as we speak. They give a before and after dyno print, so ill be sure to post that too.

Hmmm mine is round 300 and some km's but need the SAFC done...waiting for someone to hurry up with these dump pipes before I do it!!!
With the price of gas at the moment tho and the lack of pay rising....gonna be leasing out the back of the leggie to a small chinese family

The fuel-warming light was on for ages before I finally found a BP station to fill it with 98 Ultimate... 58 (!!!) litres!!!!! Is that an official record or what?

Mark - in the VR2 or VR4? Because the VR2 has a 64 litre tank, as do all other 2wd 8G's.

Ohh and look at the price, 92 euros. OUCH

Why does the VR-4 have a smaller tank? Is that because the rear drivetrain bits take up too much space to use a larger one?
