Idling at the Lights
Hey guys,
I can open my boot with the key via keyhole on the boot, but it won't open via the lever next to the driver's seat. I'm pretty clueless about the latch mechanisms and couldn't find much online. Any ideas on where/how I could start troubleshooting?
The car has a remote open mechanism fitted and when i click it while watching the mechanism, the mechanism moves but very weakly. Is this an actuator issue?
***EDIT***: Lol okay there's a switch on the latch and it was set to "Lock". I moved it to "Free" and now it opens via the lever. Still doesn't work with the aftermarket remote but not so worried about that. I'm gonna leave this up anyway as there doesn't seem to be a boot latch thread.
