Hesitantly Boosting
Hi y'all,
Introducing myself on this forum that has a very pleasant feel to it, but I guess it's probably the users who give that good feel to it.
I'm Mark, 34 years young from the Neterlands and being a Galant fan for over 10 years now. The Galant virus started when my dad bought a 6th gen Galant Hatchback. Loved the car, so when I got my drivers licence I bought one too. Driven that car for many years, when I stumbled upon a 'wrecker' Galant GTi from 1990. Car was actually much nicer and had a stronger engine (150hp) only thing wrong with is was the power steering was out. Fixed that and still drive that car. Some time later I bought a V6 8th gen Galant saloon, which has a VR4 6A13TT engine swapped in it (front wheel drive only).
Done quite a bit of work on it to get it back into near-perfect condition as it is now. Most of the time my GF drives it to her work and she's absolutely crazy about it.
Then bought another black GTi 6th gen, spend a little fortune on getting this one back to very good condition too, but it will receive a donor VR4 4G63T engine somewhere end of this year (that turbo-feel is addictive). I drive this one daily.
A couple of weeks ago my GF saw a white Legnum VR4 for sale and she fell in love with it. Well... can't refuse to a girls desires right?!
So that one is coming over in a couple of months (actually it is on the boat now).
Some random pics from all our (4) current cars (my first -white- Galant I owned has gone to the wreckers last year, so that doesn't count or it would have been 5 cars...-which would be totally abnormal as well-).
