Hi everyone!

I am the new one on OZVR4, but not new to VR-4's. I am an active member on CVR-4 over in UK and thought, it may be good to be here as well.

My ride is a Legnum 25 ST-R bought in Japan by myself and imported to Germany in 2007.

Some of the guys around here know me already. For those who don't - just ask. (y)

cheers
Stefan

Nice one Stefan - rims are looking great, black on white is always a good choice!

Grüß mir die deutschen Lande und zeig uns dein ST-R badge =)

Welcome!

The black 7 wheels make it look 11ty billion times better.

Well done :)

Sweet!

Looks awesome Stefan!

what is writen in the side skirt?

And how did you get your headlight to look so good? any chance of a headlish closer photo as i would to to have that tyipe of finish.

I assume he removed the orange cover for the indicator & sprayed the high & low beam surroundings matte black? Correct?

BTW - Nice Ralliart console ^^

Really clean looking ride, Stefan.

I love the black wheels on white body look!

to answer all these questions... o_O

1st - the black letters on the side skirt is the web address of a local Mitsi garage -> reason is, that the owner is a good friend of mine and he helped me out in the past, so this is kind of friendship deal

2nd - headlights are the normal german ones with glass cover and seperate turn signal (not the Depo crap - all OE Mitsi)

3rd - HighVis dash mod is done, but the rev meter does not work correctly as there are differences with the sensor between VR-4 and V6 N/A

Whats next:
- Brembo conversion (due March)
- ARC titanium backbox (due March)
- E7 wheels in bright white (due March)
- OE 1pc headlights with Bi-Xenon projectors (due April)
- VR-4 engine conversion (tbd - necessary to fix 3rd (y))

attached some pics from the beginning and a close-up of the brake/wheel combo

Thread from the dead alert! :D

Well, a few days have passed and guess what...I've managed to swap the 6A13 N/A for a 6A13TT egine from a FL Legnum Type-S.

To make the story short...I've bought a wrecker car back in July 2011 and after a lot of work we fired the car the first time - to learn that the engine wad dead due to shettered ringlands on piston no. 6.

So I had to source another engine and we had to swap the engine again. It took till now to complete the conversion, but now it's a ST-R with engine and gearbox from a VR-4...

But now it's time for pics!

the breaker car... 6A13TT w/o TCL & ASC sh!t

That's it. I hope you've enjoyed my short picture story...

Very nice ride. How is the low temp thermostat working for you, I'm thinking of getting the same?

Thanks for sharing those pics Stefan.....

Very nice ride. How is the low temp thermostat working for you, I'm thinking of getting the same?

Working good so far. It's not that much difference in opening temp compared to the OE thermostat. I just wanted to "improve" the cooling a bit and used that thermostat together with a brand new radiator.

This HKT unit was bought from Jap-Land directly, so a bit expensive. If you can get hold of a SARD thermostat (65° opening temp) this would be good too. Any thermostat suitable for Evo IV - V will be a straight fit for the VR-4.

Looking good mate!
Makes me want to pull the mesh out of my front bar, and also drop the car a bit further :P

How does it drive in comparison?
