Gearbox Warning Light - Meaning?

Howdy guys,
Quick question, what exactly triggers the gearbox warning light? Mine has been coming on on the occasional trip. Fluid levels fine, fluid change was done about 10,000km ago. The TCL OFF light also shows at the same time.

Most likely a sensor problem then if the TCL is coming up. Do you know how to extract fault codes from the ECU?
