Hey guys,
I've been searching for a good hour and can't find anything that suits.

Has anyone modded their factory immobilizer so that when you press the key button your indicators flash??

I remember ages ago someone was building a board to get this feature going.. as well as folding/unfolding the door mirrors but can't seem to find anything..

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Cheers
Steve

Isn't it just a setting in the ETACS ECU? As far as I know, it's an on/off setting, but needs a MUT-II or MUT-III to actually access it.

Thanks Mate,
I haven't heard that one before... Hope you're right save a bit of hassle hey....

You could also find the cdl motor wires and wire a relay to each and connect to the indicator. There are 2 wires and the switch polarity ,so 1 will be positive on lock and the other would be positive on unlock.

Thanks Scott,
I was going to dig into the wiring with the trusty multi-meter and do that, but with the timing belt being done soon I'll get the guys at parra mitso a try to change the Etacs setting.. if that doesn't work... then a butchering I shall go lol... love playing with car wiring..NOT!! Turbo Timers are where i like to draw the line hahahaha

Wait....the Legnum has an immobiliser???

Nope, no immobiliser code in the ecu and no transponder key.

My car has an aftermarket remote central locking system / immobiliser (no factory key) and the indicators flash when I lock/unlock the car. I wouldn't have a clue how it was hooked up though.

Same here too.

Thank god for that...thought I'd wasted money on an alarm with immobiliser for a second there.
