I love the Deli's too.

My mechanic has one that pulls a 13.5 sec quarter... hairdryer on it the size of a football. Its big, loud & friggen scary!

Another Delica and Legnum owner! Are you my twin on the other side of the world?

Is it the L300 or L400 you have?

I got the L300 Super Exceed, sooooo much fun!

Delica's are tough units.
They go well too and have that extremely cool JDM street presence about them.

Tossing up between a Pajero and a Delica, I was actually considering to import one this year as my second car. But reading through the Delica Club had put me off - apparently, compared to Pajero's these things go through fuel like no tomorrow - especially the diesel models :(

we average 13 - 14ltr/100 but it never gets any worse, we have been told if we do the diesel pump that it drops and ours has never been done, the thing is thou that when fully loaded they still use the same, i bet allot of other cars start to use more at that point.

if you are wanting to get a Deli, just make sure its a series II 98 on i think or at least have money to do the diesel pump on hand.

Dragonfly or my wifes car is an L400 thats our beast :)

I know this is digging up a REALLY old thread but I'm considering buying one of these after I pay off the legnum.

The D5 version looks insane, but woah what a price!

I like the Hummer Spec-iness :p but that's just my opinion. The older versions don't look half bad.

delica = fail.

/end thread

Couldn't agree more. They are slow and most people who drive them (and I use that term loosely) are pretty shit at doing so, shocking people.

How come they don't get picked on like other import owners? They are the worst of the lot!

...ugh!

Who cares if they're slow. They weigh 2 tons so what do you expect! For what they are, like the very first post you can go ANYWHERE and see EVERYTHING!
As a 4x4 van i don't think you can get better! :D

Being the best 4x4 Van isn't exactly something to boasting about though, lol!

I like the D5s, but yeah, horrifically expensive. Roadests look sexy too:

They'd make a great tow car, just not quite as great as a VQ35 Elgrand with an aftermarket supercharger kit....

There's just something appealing about driving a block of flats.

That Roadest is only cool cause it's done up VIP/El Grand/Vellfire style.

My mum has a Delica. It seems to like blowing black smoke, and the special electronic suspension or something is shot and it drives like a boat, the central locking also seems to have a mind of its own, and you often hear it re-lock itself while you drive, other than that, i like them a lot :)
