Its taken me a few days to recover from the sensory overload but i think im getting better now and have plenty of pics to share

To get there, we needed a suitable chariot. Unfortunately we got this (it was ok, for some reason car rental companies always give me brand new cars and that makes me feel a bit bad when im giving it shit):

An absolutely amazing weekend, where just seeing most of the cars on display would have been enough. However, to give real bang for your buck, they also race them up the hillclimb track, some faster than others but still amazing to see some of the machinery that was dusted off and pulled out of museums and private collections just for the event.

There were some amazing cars around - and this was just the dam carpark!!! You could almost just go to trawl the carpark for some of the interesting things that people rolled up in

Each year there is a theme, this year was 50 years of Jaguar E-type, which meant there was shitloads of them around, from all walks of life.

The E-type featured in the statue that Lord March commisions to go outside of Goodwood house

    IMG_4105.jpg

And then there was all sorts of racing and street going E-types

    IMG_4077.jpg

This was by far my favourite - unfortunately only on display but the colour was absolutely amazing in person and it was probably cleaner than when it rolled out the factory

Heres a random assortment of cars from the weekend:

    IMG_4055.jpg
    IMG_4602.jpg
probably my most favourite ferrari of all time. Chris Evans owned this and 6 other fairly rare and race spec ferraris, which unfortunately only took 1 slow run up the hill. What a c**t.
    IMG_4597.jpg
My new most favourite lambo - the new Aventador. My pics of the front didnt come out too well :(
    IMG_4588.jpg
Jenson Button did a fast run up the hill in this (see the post of speedhunters). I also went and saw the new Mclaren dealership in London, very interesting
    IMG_4817.jpg
    IMG_4831.jpg
Ken Block was out doing donuts and being crazy
    IMG_4870.jpg
Equal winner of best sounding car of the weekend
    IMG_4088.jpg
The other winner of best sounding car
    IMG_4069.jpg
    Loudest car - triangle engined sh!t :p

    the new

F1 was well represented from all earas

    IMG_4401.jpg

    As was Indy
    IMG_4273.jpg
    IMG_4243.jpg
    (more pics to come :p)

The purpose built rally stage at the top of the hill was also awesome to see
    IMG_4346.jpg
    IMG_4365.jpg
    IMG_4379.jpg
    IMG_4383.jpg

they also got to run up the hill (they're actually on the decent in these pics :p )
    IMG_4255.jpg
    IMG_4252.jpg
    IMG_4254.jpg

I also managed to capture the only major car crash of the weekend in sequence:

    IMG_4777.jpg
    IMG_4778.jpg
    IMG_4780.jpg
    IMG_4781.jpg
    IMG_4782.jpg
    IMG_4787.jpg

The ol' coon boots copped a pounding on each of the days, but well worth it

    IMG_4895.jpg

ill do a bit more of a wrap up of the other classes in coming days (Enduros, Bikes and of course Supercars). I got over 1500 pics and thats after I got rid of all the poor ones! Ill also try and put up my best ones too, although these were limited in number as i dropped the dam camera in Singapore and struggled to set it up right again until middle of the last day :(

I cant reccommend this event highly enough - if you ever get the chance to go, dont think twice about it. Its a car nuts heaven!!

Hope you guys enjoy the pics!

I saw one of these out the front of the monte carlo casino later in the trip, it stood out very well (in a good way to me)

    IMG_4568.jpg
    IMG_4599.jpg
Waaaaaaay to many of these around

    DSC_1007.jpg
get your bald head out the way, a-hole!

    IMG_4152.jpg
the more i look at this new Lambo, the more i love it

    IMG_4687.jpg
Bikes kinda all look the same to me :p

    IMG_4549.jpg
except this jet bike. You dont go to the bike shop and get one of these. MTT comes and invites you to buy one. For 200k+ pounds.....

    IMG_4522.jpg
This 'celica' was fastest up the hill all weekend - except for the top 10 shoot out, when he pushed too hard on 1 corner and lost a second or two

    IMG_4746.jpg
    This lasted the whole course....

    IMG_4635.jpg
Finally a use for those GTR rims you have lating around!

    IMG_4886.jpg
No Ken Block! You wait for Toyota GT1 to park first

Argh. I want to share every pic i have :( so many amazing cars. But that might have to do for now unless anyone has any specific requests (motorsport type etc)
