Its taken me a few days to recover from the sensory overload but i think im getting better now and have plenty of pics to share
To get there, we needed a suitable chariot. Unfortunately we got this (it was ok, for some reason car rental companies always give me brand new cars and that makes me feel a bit bad when im giving it shit):
An absolutely amazing weekend, where just seeing most of the cars on display would have been enough. However, to give real bang for your buck, they also race them up the hillclimb track, some faster than others but still amazing to see some of the machinery that was dusted off and pulled out of museums and private collections just for the event.
There were some amazing cars around - and this was just the dam carpark!!! You could almost just go to trawl the carpark for some of the interesting things that people rolled up in
Each year there is a theme, this year was 50 years of Jaguar E-type, which meant there was shitloads of them around, from all walks of life.
The E-type featured in the statue that Lord March commisions to go outside of Goodwood house
And then there was all sorts of racing and street going E-types
This was by far my favourite - unfortunately only on display but the colour was absolutely amazing in person and it was probably cleaner than when it rolled out the factory
Heres a random assortment of cars from the weekend:
probably my most favourite ferrari of all time. Chris Evans owned this and 6 other fairly rare and race spec ferraris, which unfortunately only took 1 slow run up the hill. What a c**t.
My new most favourite lambo - the new Aventador. My pics of the front didnt come out too well
Jenson Button did a fast run up the hill in this (see the post of speedhunters). I also went and saw the new Mclaren dealership in London, very interesting
Ken Block was out doing donuts and being crazy
