Head gasket, anyone done theirs?

Howdy all,

Just curious if anyone here has had the head gasket on their VR-4 replaced in Australia?
My car is showing classic symptoms of a blown head gasket and i'm just curious if anyone has done theirs yet, how long it took and roughly how much it cost.

Thats not good, have you done the 100,000k service yet? advantageous to kill a few birds with one stone while your there.......

Yup, major service including timing belt was changed at 99,000kms.

Might get the car towed to Meek tomorrow and just leave it with them to sort out.

Bloody hell I've lost track of how much money I've put through them

Mine's due there soon too ... valve stem seals replaced. Still trying to figure out where this bloody oil leak is too....

Then the Super is due too ... that will hit me in the wallet HARD..

Seriously, how often are our cars there ??? There is NO ONE north of Sydney I can trust with it..
