Head light beam adjustment

Well my low beam is a bit low so I looked at adjusting them only problem is I couldn't work out which one adjusted the vertical and which adjusted the horizontal. I saw that there is adjustment for high beam and low beam. Can anyone answer the question? There seems to be a 3 and a 5 at each lights adjustment. I assume 3 = adj 1 5 = adj 2. Just need to work out which is which.

Hope someone can help.

i'm pretty sure the ones marked "3" are for up/down, and "5" is for left/right.

best bet is to go out in the dark, ie, now.. park about 5m from a wall, and fiddle with them.

Nigel AFAIK there isn't info on beam pattern adjustment / setup on the site anywhere... yet Something everyone should be doing, too

Well I will drive my car into the garage tonight rather than backing it in and see if I can work out which is which against the garage wall. I have stuffed around with the right hand low beam a lot last night trying to work it out. I hope I don't get home too late tonight as I might have one very badly aligned headlight. Could be pointing anywhere now.
