Hey Everyone, great and helpful forum.

I recently picked up a 1999 VR4 Legnum as our new family/company car.
and its great, have had many jap sports cars and although this may not be classed as one, i find it to drive just as well and as fun as any other jap sports car Ive driven.

My name is Jess I'm from WA

Now, the car -
Its a 1999 Silver VR4 Legnum
120ks
Auto
Has a few mods;
Fully adjustable coilovers
Ally Radiator
Bigger Front Mount Intercooler
Some A/M BOV
Oil Catch Can
Full 3inch Exhaust
Oil cooler
and a few sound system extras

Spare Parts;
Defi Gauges (3) and control unit
Standard Suspension
Standard Exhaust
Standard Intercooler
Spare lights front and back
and spare heads.

The cars in great condition, has the typical noisy hydraulic lifters

My main concern with the car is that we bought it from someone after he was left it from his Brother in Law that passed away and didn't know what mods had been done to the car so Ive been finding them out as Ive gone around the car.
If anyone knows anything about the car would love to know any info.

Welcome! Looks nice and clean with most of the most common mods already done, nice pick up.

Awesome car mate,

Do you know if it's done it's major yet? If not, you can get in and replace the lifters at the same time as the pumps, pulleys and belts.
 
Wow that's an eerie purchase! Can't say I know anyone who has bought a car under that circumstance! Either way it's got some good bita already to make a great platform! As for just as good and fun...I've driven a 180, s15 and evo x and they're all better and more fun. Sorry. :P but I still love my vr4!
 
Thanks for the kind words, i don't know if any major service has been done on this car, got no paperwork with it.

I got the car for a stupidly low price, if you cant tell from the pictures, it has slight hail damage. But I love it either way.
 
That wasn't the guy who passed away from cancer not that long ago? I think lathiat posted up someone he knew with a Legenum that had passed away.
 
He did pass away from cancer yes.

Ah its coming together, finally getting closer to finding something out about the car
 
Speak to Trent (Lathiat). I'm sure he can fill you in on some of the car's details.
