Gday everyone

I'm Bryan from Coffs Harbour proud new owner of the Galant vr4 recently traded with my worked LS1 with this clean well looked after example with a previous owner on this forum? Gary from Port Macquarie, very happy with this car's response.. Once owned a GTiR and a Lancer GSR 4G93T, hope to share and receive knowledge of these great diamond star motors. ;)

Welcome mate, Very nice ride, that Engine bay is impressive.
Congratulations, Paulie will be along soon with his outstanding list of links for everything you need to know about owning a VR-4. Hope your enjoying it mate.

Hi and welcome to this great forum, such a fine example of a VR-4 you have there, here is the video of when it first arrived in oz, enjoy :)

Cheers Phil

Welcome buddy..that is one nice car..Thats my favorite galant on this site..hope you enjoy her and treat her with love and respect :)

Very nice example of a galant done right...

Is the crash bar still in tact behind that vented front bar?
(Got the same Evo 7 vent sitting unpainted in the shed for my Galant, but will be dusted off very shortly I suspect after the new cooler goes in Tuesday).

Ahh yes, the PROs Galant. Nice one. Welcome aboard Bryan.

Wonder if TME have had a chance to work their magic on the rom in this one. All those PROs bits should help make some decent power.

Love the colour, and seen this car floating around on the interwebs. Nice ride, hope you enjoy it!

Thanks.

Cheers casuarina, when he gave me the specs list it was obvious that the car was once a promo workshop ride as majority of the parts are PROS gear, cant find much information on the builders that put it together though.. maybe a low key alley way workshop somewhere in the metropolis of Tokyo? lol

AKKO I had a look near the front mount chassis area couldn't see anything reinforced regarding your crash bar you mentioned? Are these usually installed for track days? All I could recognize what was Evo'ish parts were the brembos, bonnet vent, let alone the front vents lol  Will be taking care of this daily thats for sure.

Very nice car, love that piping. I thought it actually belonged to pros engineering?

By crash bar, he is talking about the factory reinforcement bar that usually sits inside your bumper, protecting your intercooler, radiator etc in the event of a frontal crash. Reason he ask is sometimes people remove it when doing an intercooler upgrade.

213awkw. On par with Steve. Welcome mate. Glad to see this car back on the forum.

Will have to have a closer look if the crash bar is still intact, thanks Conners was wondering what its current specs were.. not to sure what boost its running previous owner said its set on two settings not used to the EVC's kpa lingo.. Thx Blackice will keep that in mind love those lil hatches.
