Hi everyone Charles the newbee here
I am the proud owner of a 2000 vr4 legnum manual wagon only mods tien coilovers,pod,cat back exaust,gready boost gauge. verry happy with overall package execpt fuel usage approx 340Ks per tank.
Been defected for pod and excessive exaust noise does anyone have a air box and a standard cat back exaust any help would be appreciated hopeing someone has done these upgrades and still has parts

Welcome, Put up a wanted to buy in the classified section. Probably contact Kempys in NZ for the air box though as most people still have theirs
 
Does anyone know if the magna,lancer or any other air box that will fit or look like it fits only need it for the D.E.C.C. niose test

If you were in Victoria you could borrow mine. What's the law in NSW regarding intake mods? You can't have any at all? That sounds a little ridiculous.
 
Welcome man.... My advice would be to borrow one, there are a few members around the area that'd possibly help you out :)

And Tim, uncovered air intakes in NSW are defectable..... RTA thinks they'll suck your hand in like a vortex or some shit obviously :(
 
Hey mate and welcome to OZVR4! Gettting rid of the pod is a good idea as it's just sucking in really hot air from the engine bay realistically (no matter how cool it sounds :P). Car should run better with the airbox back in.
 
Welcome to the club bud.

I think you're better off buying a stock air box, if the NSW laws are that tight you might be using the stocky more than once.

Found my air box attached to a manual half cut that I was thinking of purchasing for man/box & turbos & parting out the rest didnt want to put an add in clasifieds cause still thinking bout this. But if people could let me know a list of parts needed could make this a possability for me and could help some people chasing parts
