Hi guys,

Just signed up here for a bit of info on the 6A13TT.
I have 6A12 MIVEC motor and hope to start building a 2.5L MIVEC, hence I am trying to gather information.

I believe the only big problem that will arise will be the timing belt, as the MIVEC heads are taller than the DOHC heads and will need a timing belt to suit this.

The goal is to build this motor on a somewhat small budget yet maintain reliability and at a later stage do supporting modifications to release all it's potential power and retain the MIVEC's 8,000+ rpm redline
 
Thanks for the advice but it is in a FWD car and I want to remain NA :)

Yes I lost interest in the car for a period of time (I've been in a different country to the car for a number of years) and now I am planning on returning and hence my new found interest in it.
Unfortunately though it needs some cash to get it running properly (engineers report, new brakes, battery, tune, wheels/tires etc) so at times I feel it may not be worth it, but at others times I want to finish what I have started and also reach the goal I had for the car about half a decade ago.

At this stage I am gathering information so that when the time comes I can more easily make up my mind in which direction I wish to go.
