To keep it short and sweet i saw a hot black wagon that just looked like it was all business. I caught up with it and instantly had to have one.
Why?
The sheer originality factor. (there are no badges on my car exept "vr4"). When my rotten auto transmission still worked i could take it to most cars. I love the wtf factor when they are blown of by what looks to be a little magna.
Its a station wagon. - I can store my tools safely (Moongoose tracker with various Apps so i can stop the car the minute i get a remote alert.) Of course that is proving very hard to pair up with my BB. I refuse to buy a bloody i phone.
The potential power wise. I was hoping to spend around 5k and to get it smoking sti's. Feel free to toss me ideas because im sure im not forging any new ground here.
I Believe it is a late 1999 model. It has the flared wheel arches i have not seen on to many other models.

Welcome aboard and nice find. You will find all the information you need on this site and if you cant there is someone on here that will be able to point you in the right direction.

What were those photos taken with, a potato?

Welcome.
Here's a link to a thread with some upgrade suggestions, the order of which is subject to debate.
Personally, I'd go with a full exhaust first. Followed by a big front-mount intercooler, new BOV and a tune from TME Steve.
As I'm sure Steve will tell you, I'd also recommend getting a uprated fuel pump. They max out pretty quick.

Good find mate and welcome to the forum :)...

As Adam said full exhaust, fmic, bov, 3-port boost solinoid, walbro fuel pump, fuel rail loop, coil on plug and Steves magical tuning wand and ull be laughing :P Steve is deff the best man to speak to

Everything u ever need to know bout these cars are somewhere on here and the guys here are always willing to help

As above. Full exhaust, cooler, add hard intercooler pipes, new plugs, new leads, a fuel pump and a tune.

And a manual. :P

Hi Paul, welcome to the forum. You'll find heaps of info here. And, um, have you seen a doctor about your username? :(

Just following recent dyno tune figures it's got me wondering the value for money of full exhaust from turbo instead of a cat back, and an aftermarket intercooler. Most seem to be acheiving early to mid 180kw (after TME tune and other usual mods) whereas I got 176.8 with just catback and factory cooler. I know there are a couple I think out there who have achieved late 190s so I guess who knows maybee that could also be me given more work on exhaust and intercooler???

Figures vary dyno to dyno. I'm under the impression front-pipes/dumps make a considerable difference, though.

Aaron's car was tuned on our dyno so the numbers comparable with a lot of other cars. But his car was one of those really good ones, most don't make numbers anything like that with just a catback and tune. Just like teppei's car made 170 or something on only 9psi of boost, some cars are better than average, others make the average.... Aaron, I would guess your car would be in the 190s with a hdi cooler and front pipes.

Front pipes & a cat transformed how my car drove. As in it literally felt like a different car when I picked it up.
