HKS oil filters are bad.

Don't buy HKS oil filters. they're shit. and can lead to bigger problems.

Back to super cheap Ryco filters.

Get an oil pressure gauge.
Had a guy had this happen with a ryco too. Suspected jamming releif valve. So if your pressure is all over the show it would be a good idea to whip the pump off and check the releif valve.

Thats my point it's not the filters fault the seal rolled over. Probably the oil pressure going through the roof for some reason.
The engine I'm talking about ran 4 bearings because of it and has been an expensive rebuild.
