Hey, welcome to ozvr4!

Is there any reason you went with the 1.8 rather than a VR4? I couldnt imagine the price would be much more for a VR4 when you still need to pay for shipping costs, so it sorta evens out.

So was it fuel savings, specific laws in ireland that dont allow turbo imports, or something else?

Congrats on the purchase, twin turbo or not, the Legnum is a very nice car!

There is at least one member in Ireland with a VR-4, so it is legal to have them over there!

didn't get the vr4 because of insurance costs(at least 1200euro a year)fuel costs(1:20 euro a litre) and road tax costs(821euro a year) and i probably put it in a ditch, but there are vr4's here in ireland but i wouldn't say theres more than 20.

They are very expensive and rare. Best to look on japanese sites or NZ sites for them.
