working on the car yesterday gave me some time to investigate a cable i found running between the centre console and the passengers seat. it stopped here with a plug attached to nothing.... lifted the carpet under the passengers seat and found the tuner/amp for the tv, i think, i just dont have the tv any more i guess (can any one confirm what this box is exactly?). but going in the other direction up into the center console behind the ac and stereo found that the previous owner has put a chain with a pad lock in there. this is my high security anti theft system for non removal of the stereo!!!
the pad lock is actually quite cute and is accompanied with a lovely gold chain!! glad to see they had a sense of pride and style.
