Those 3.0L supercharged V6s are weapons too, so easy to get power out of - check out Chris Harris on Drive with the mildly tuned S4 vs. a stock RS4

Macri and I were havin' a fap over overpowered land barges just the other day and came to the conclusion that the Touareg R50 and Q7 V12 TDI are excellent automotive choices

Seriously though, Q5? Macan shares the platform apparently. Alternatively, other potential considerations are Mercedes G-Wagen if you want a more serious 4WD or something in the ML range if you want SUV. Land Rover for 4WD or Range Rover Sport.

N.B. I have no idea of price ranges, just throwing some options in there, second hand may be in budget if new is well over.
