Interstate purchasing of vehicles

Hi WA Peoples!

Has anyone over there ever purchased an import vehicle from interstate?

If so, how did you go about getting it registered?

Basically, I have an interested buyer in WA who would like to pay for the car and have it freighted over there. Problem is, there appears to be paperwork that MUST be signed by both parties? This will be difficult as there are about 6 deserts between us.....

Is there any way of getting around this?

Any help would be appreciated

what did you do about the secondary address in the state? and what was the primary address, the one in WA?

Minh, we could post the paperwork back and forward 3 times before the car got there anyways haha

Maybe we could just do it that way?

That's what I'd do - fill everything out, post / fax / email to other party.

FYI WA peeps.

If you purchase a vehicle from interstate, all you need is a signed letter as proof of ownership
