i am picking up this car on monday and just wondering if it was a good buy.
by the way, there is no electric seats.
The car drove well and all th oils were good. please be honest and let me know

IMO that price is OK, not great, but not as bad as others I have seen. It all depends on what you want. If you wanna import yourself then you can definitely get one cheaper and better imo, for example you could get either one of these for $2k less and they have more mods and similar KM..

How sweet are they, especially the blue one!!

great examples i must say.. i just do not have patience... :redface:. Edward LXX asked for something like $24000 for something much worse than this one.. The dealer i am buying from was straight forward and nice.
i got all the audio gears ready for it. subs, amps and splits.. will pot the pictures when i am done.
also, is ti worth getting a QUICK TRACK?
by the way, what us IMO? (well,, yes.... i recently connected to electricity...)

IMO - In My Opinion

looks like a nice exmple there jone but things id get the dealer to do first:
-get the tow hook cover colour coded
-remove the silver door edges
-possibly remove the rear number plate surround if its just covering the stock one - looks good on a darker coloured car, not so much on the white (IMO)
-make sure the stereo/tv is working

otherwise, i think thats a very reasonable example and with 36 month warranty, a very good price! Enjoy it!!!

side note: i call bullsht on some of the listed features:
-stability control??
-powerfront seat with memory?
-6 speaker sound system?
-how many times can you list airbags?
(but thats me being picky )

lots of people confuse the ayc with stability control, however this one is a prefacelift auto so it has stability control as well as AYC. The stock setup also has 6 speakers, one in each door and one tweeter at the bottom of the A pillar. The rear garnish is cool, if you don't want it, post it to me!

The price isn't super high or anything and if you want leather it will probably be a good buy.

that car looks great man go for it, i keep an eye out on cars just to see whats around and i saw this one and for that price here ready to go i think its an incredible price, 14 thou landed ready to drive away go for it it took me 6 months to get mine and i was over the wait by the time i got it but still worth it as i wanted dark colour and manual as well, but if you are happy with white auto it looks perfect.

Hey it even has the same carbon fibre insert as mine near the rear number plate, i havnt seen it on another one yet

why is it that car dealers think by saying a word like dynamic that it makes the car sound better.lol

Thanks guys~! actually, at the ebay, there are no option so put ayc so they just put stability control.. dumb. It is always heart pounding to buy a car and this is my 7th car. first car - Accent 96 at highschool, civic97 gli hatch, accord 97 vti, eg si civic, kia rio (i know... i sniffed too much), hyundai grandure (i was desperate after rio), merc a160 (its my wife's car now). can't wait to meet up with you guys for the quality time at the future meeting - is it gonna be soon?
Sat nav works well and serve me right for my fishing trips.
I heard one thing from a BMW mechanic that with BMW, you can check the original k's even the car' odometer was tempered. By turning the battery on and pressing the trip meter bottun for about ten sec's, it shows the original k's, chasi number and engine number or something. Does anyone know how to check with mits?
One more thing.. what services would you guys recommend?

Side airbags were an option, so entirely possible.

I dunno why they would have listed electric seats if they're not... that just makes them look dodgy

Jono, service EVERYTHING. I don't care if they say they've done them already, you have no way of knowing what lube they used. Buy Amsoil and do it all properly - when your AYC and engine are still going strong in 10 years you'll be thankful that you did it right from day one. If they didn't use the correct lubes you could damage your diff starting the moment you drive it home.

There are numerous guides available explaining most of the service stuff, so spend a bit of time reading through the Guides subforum.
