OK if there is any one up for a day at the track the FTO club is going racing :twisted:
Yes it's a Thursday but hay what can you do lol, one good thing there won't be a lot of cars at the track on the day well apart from us :twisted:

Wakefield Park also offers Speed off the Street Days, where road-registered street cars and bikes can run on the circuit for a small fee. Drivers/Riders can learn how their vehicle can really perform, in order to better understand how to control their vehicle on the road.

Just bring yourself and your street car and for just $110 per day (week days) you can experience what it's like to Drive around a race track. Drivers need to wear appropriate attire:


• Approved road use helmet (also available for hire at track)
• Neck-to-wrist-to-ankle clothing protection (could be long sleeve shirt and long pants)
• Closed in shoes (cover ankle to toe)

During the lunch break at some of our Speed off the Street Days, the V8 Challenge cars are available for Drives or Rides to anyone wanting to experience a Drive or Ride in a V8 Racecar.


SPEED OFF THE STREET DAYS

o Drive your own street car $110.00 per weekday and $140.00 per weekend day

o Australian Autosport Alliance licence $50.00 (annually)
o Helmet hire available for $20 per day with a $50 Deposit

PASSENGERS FOR DRIVER TRAINING PURPOSES ONLY (must have appropriate Race Licences, Call Wakefield Office for details)

ET RACING FUEL available now from the bowser.

Just to expand on Aza's post here is some additional info for anyone interested,

$50 for "Australian Autosport Alliance Licence" (last 12 months)
$110 for the "Track fee's"
$20 for "Hire Helmet" + ($50 deposit)
You will need longsleve shirt and pants.

Fire extinguisher is not neccessary


Also expect to use a full tank of Fuel "at the track" or close to it

FUEL.....

for those who only use BP Ulimate, there is no BP servo in Goulburn, but there is a large BP Servo on Hume Highway @ Marulan which is 27k's before goulburn.

for those who use Mobil Synergy 8000, there is a Mobil servo at the corner of Reynolds and Lagoon Streets (take first Goulburn exit off Highway, Servo is at the first set of traffic lights you come to, its on the left)

for those that use Caltex 98 Vortex, there is a Caltex Starmart at the corner of Bourke & Goldsmith Streets, take first Goulburn exit off Highway, then turn right at the second set of traffic lights you come to, Caltex is 150metres up Goldsmith Street on the left)

for those that use Shell V-Power, there is a Shell Servo at the corner of Hume Street & Clinton Streets, take the first Goulburn exit off Highway, then turn right at the 5th set of lights, go thru the round about on Clinton street and its 250metre up on the left hand side.

or there is $3.10/litre race fuel available at the track (104-Octane).

Qball there is no cut off time/date for this just let us know if you are coming when you work out if you can make it or not.

If anyone is interested, you can use the lap timer function on your mobile phone to get lap times so you can post them in http://ozvr4.com/forums/showthread.php?9169-Australian-Lap-Times&p=168818&viewfull=1#post168818

Obviously you should get someone to do this who is not driving
