I'm probably the only person that does this but for every car that I really like I have this "thing" where I try to buy the model equivalent.... you know.. die cast display sorta thing..

All started from the days when I fell in love with the WRC when Tommi Makinen was racing.. then when I bought my Makinen Edition.. so bought a couple of those models.. both in 1/48th scale (about 60-70% bigger than a matchbox car) to the much larger 1/18th scale... have a few Mitsubishi Lancers and stuff but the Legnum model became a very tough car to find..Till Now....even fired off a few emails to well known manufacturers like Auto Art.... to no avail

I give you... the 1/48th Mitsubishi Legnum VR-4 FL !! In it's own display case!!!

Only thing they don't have pearl white .. they have black and trigger mauve from what I found....
On it's way from Israel as I type this!!! Yes Israel!

I know what a lot may be thinking... that's a lot for a matchbox car... I have a Tommi Makinen Edition WRC car I paid $160 for... It's selling for over $750-$800USD atm... don't get me started on my 1/18th Mercedes Benz 190E Evo 2 in Blue Black... lol

Cool! Ive been after a FL one for ages. You can get PFL models easy but I'd never seen a FL one until now.

You can buy the 1/24th model kit as a PFL... Hasegawa from memory and they go for about 40 bucks... usually search "Legnum Galant Model" on ebay and they come up...
Now I gotta find a really cheap 1/48 Evo with my wheels and brembos and it's time for surgery hahahaha

If I could find a 1/18th I'd be over the moon.... would even consider painting it up if it wasn't the right colour but unfortunately they've never been made in that scale... though I've given Auto Art an idea lol

Funnily enough I've seen many white Legnum model cars, with Super bodykits.

I'm still a firm believer that there were white Supers built. There's a lot of pics from Japan of them
