Manual conversion Q's

Hi guys,
I am planning on doing this soon, However am finding it really hard to source a spare manual gearbox, anyone know where I could look with some more success.
Also wanted to confirm that series one and two are interchangable with each other.

I just kept ringing around jap auto dismantlers till I found one. Sure it was a front cut but at least that way I could be sure I got absolutely everything required.

what sort of ball park figure did you have to pay for front cut. close to 2, 3, 4, 5, 6k. Did they also trade in your auto?

there are VR-4's selling in NZ for $6-8k, could just buy one of those and nick all the parts out of it. Or contact wreckers here.

note the code, our ones are w5m51 for manual and w5a51 for auto

W = 4wd
F = FWD
4 or 5 = # ratios
A or M = Manual or Auto
51 = rated to 510 nm of torque

yep, that gearbox is from a 25ST or 25ST-R Non Turbo V6, would make a GREAT mod for all of those silly V6's out there with only 4 ratios to choose from.
