Dunno? I guess stock could hold the power? No? Afterall they are based off the evos.

teamrip.com are one of the only people that do it. Don't bother looking for VR-4 gearbox, look for W5M51 instead.

Thanks brad. I did search that and f5m51 also. Will check it out. Also what about that clutch kit? The act evo 8 street one? I posted a link in the clutch thread?

Stock gearbox will handle 600-700hp if you don't flat shift and do 6k launches.

That clutch you linked to will be fine.

If the stock can handle the power then no need to waste money though.

unless u get a sequenial shifter/dog set/triple plate clutch

but i think thats a bit of an over kill

All I can say is the manual box really needs a 6th gear for highway cruzing to get the revs down.
