I need to get a shift boot as i didnt get one with my manual gearbox. I've been looking into Autobarn/Stupidcheap/etc but their shift boots are of dubious quality and fitting. Is there a shift boot from another mitsi that is a direct fit? Better yet, does anyone know of anything snazzy that I can make fit?

go to an upholstery place. its 4 triangles of leather.

get the top bit (the chome ring) that holds the leather up from a lancer/mirage at the wreckers.

if it cost you more then 40bucks you're doing it wrong

They will make it however you want, even using that carbon fiber looking material with whatever colour stitching if thats what you want and for $20 you can't really go wrong.

I'll probably get a tan leather with black stitching to go with my interior and to fit my short shifter better. The factory one is all scrunched up so I'll be getting them to make it 2" shorter.

Smitty you can get a MOMO one, they look pretty flash but go for around $80-100
