Wanted NSW Manual shifter

hi everyone im after a shifter for a manual. some bright spark has glued the gear knob on and i cant get it off, so im going to have to replace it.
i will consider a short shifter. just need something for my conversion thats planned for to be done in 3-4 weeks

IMO the standard shifter makes it feel like you are driving a truck. Definitely worth getting a short shifter. You can easily pick one up on eBay/online. Do a search for Evo (5/6) short shifter.

Genuine VR4 are no longer available, otherwise again you could do a search online for a gear knob that will fit an Evo

Bunch of us installed this, we used our own bushes to jack it up higher I think. Be prepared to dremel the shit out of the shift cage

what bushes did you use?
working on the shift cage isn't a problem

I quite like my standard shifter. Get a good weighted knob (mine's from my Magna, weighs 900g) and it's pretty slick.
