List all figures in litres per 100km as this will make it easier to compare.

Please list best fuel figures, worst and average and a brief description of driving conditions etc.

Mods made or problems may be listed to help explain figures.

Please keep things brief to allow for easy use of information.

Hmm my 2nd tank I got

First re-fill 300k/41L so 13.6L/100k's... I was driving more carefully then the 2nd tank :P
310k's to 48 > 15.5L/100k's... It invovled some fairly spirited driving.... however I think I might do the ECU reset and throw in some EFI cleaner with the next tank.

BEST - 9.0 L/100 - 620km from one tank. 56.4L still had some left! Fuel light came on at 566km. Sydney to gold coast on highway.

Driving mix: 40% highway and 60% traffic.

Car: 2000 model Galant in manual and stock as a rock, except for a K&N panel filter. Car is impeccably maintained and serviced.

Fuel consumption figures include engine warm up each morning and warm down when returning home.

Haven't yet had the chance to try an economy run on the highway.

Big news from the Super front tonight (y)

Some caveats firstly. This last tank I've been driving probably 75% of the time without the aircon on, & 60% of the time with no stereo either.

But I filled up just earlier & could only cram in 52.12L, I'd travelled 534kms. According to my calculator, that gives a figure of;

9.76L/100kms !!!!!!! (y)(y)(y)(y)

Now, if I can achieve that in a Super, the heaviest VR4 out, then all of you can! My only mods in the car are Ralliart panel filter & intake piping.
