Believe it or not I was quoted something like this for an evo oil filter relocation kit.

Holy crap hahaha

Do it yourself with help from a couple of members/mates with some good tools and you could get out of it for under $1k with a HD clutch!

I have lost all faith in Oz Mitsi since I first asked their service department what the expected compression was on our cylinders.... I had a service manager tell me there was no such car as a Legnum!
