mitsubishi symbol at the front

well . has any 1 else given any thought to either removing the symbol or altering it and way shape or form. ??

well i was bored and did give it thought...
and after finishing work at 6 starting to take the front of my car apart

and never having done it b4 ... and not looking to do it the easy way ... i had both lights and the middle piece out in not much time .

then used a pick to flick the silver diamonds out of the symbol and take to it with a drill .... after drilling many small holes and then dragging the drill from hole to hole to cut the shape out i used a small file and made the edges all smooth so the symbol still looked correct

used 6 multi coloured LEDs .... was going to use ones that flash between red and blue but thought a cop would be an ass to me for it so i didn't.

so after wiring the LEDs and heat shrinking them so it couldn't short out. then tested it and they all lit up at the same time and changed colour... 1 LED had a slight lag. so i cut it out and put a new one into "a lot easier than it sounds" then it all worked well so i put the LEDs in the back on the mitsubishi symbol and used 5-minute Araldite so set them in place . then put front of car back togethor and wired it into my park lights

now when i turn my lights on my Mitsubishi symbol at the front glows different colours ...
no pic yet but i was amused doing it

well . cause originaly it was just going ot be red. so it would jsut look like the normal emblum from the front . jsut stand out at night . but some one sttod on thepacket of red leds and f*kt them ... so it was bright whtie . red / blue . or multis. and if i dont like it later .. i cna just paint over it and make it look normal again
and yeah i know it prob looks gay or stupid but meh . wanted to see if i could do it or not and no point doing pics ... or else ide have to send 10 in for the diff colours
or jsut 1 at night front on to show it .... hmmm ... il see what i can do this weekend, or see if a cruise is on and make a friend vid it for 10 sec and post that

Stupid is lowering your car to the point that your mates have to all bail out to go over a speed hump...or buying a Ford.....

I've actually had a not dissimilar (although a little more subtle) idea that I've been working on, but haven't finished it (like a lot of things) due to a lack of time. Check out the pics of my car that Steve and Levi took in my Members Ride thread and you'll notice there's a void where my mitsi symbol once was. I cut mine out from behind using a dremel (very quick and easy, only problem was the plastic kept melting and resealing LOL).

i dont have a camera. just a phone with a camera. and it doesnt show the symbol ... it jsut shows a blur of colour ... so my phone is useless to do it ... or else i would .

i thought about this about a year ago ; a mitsi symbol on the front made of red LEDs and pulsing in that slow way that your laptop does when its in standby , you get me? really glad you done it good effort , ignore that dude saying it looks stupid , as long as yo havent made it look too bling , itll look awesome
