Hi all, I've been lurking round this forum for a couple of months now, so it's about time I introduced myself. I'm Mick from Sydney, I bought a Legnum a little over a month ago. It's a purple '97 model, manual with leather...dead stock (save for a head unit and turbo timer fitted in Japan). Also came with reasonably low k's and all Jap log books & original manuals.
So far, I'm lovin it! By far the most complete package of all the cars I've had so far, even in completely stock trim.
I also have a '76 TA23 Celica running an injected, twin cam 2T-GEU (the same motor in the JDM Celica GT) Mine was originally built as a full GT replica, but has since lost alot of the GT goodies. Ignore the fugly wheels on the Celica, they are a temporary set. The way things are looking, it's going to be in for another full rebuild later this year (finances permitting). Having just gotten hitched as well as bought and renovated a house in the last 12 months, things are a little tight right now.
When I'm not playing with the cars (or being made to do housework
) I'm playing with mountain bikes, skateboards, collecting sneakers, computers etc etc...basically, I'm a big kid.
So....yeah, nice to be here. And thanks for all the help you never knew you gave me in buying the Leggy.
