My Galant just suddenly died at an intersection on Fri night

Was thinking maybe fuel pump or ignition sensor? If, as I read that there is possibly a coil going, which can apparently cause these sensors to fail, what are my options for the coils - are spares available for these cars ? TIA

If you have a dead coil I'd suggest the coil on plug kits people have made, makes it slightly more simple and gives you a cheaper option to replace coils in the future.

How the v3.1 harness is placed / installed

This has been tested with and without tune and works the same as the kit that I made in the past.

Also, this kit sits slightly lower compared to the v.2 kit and should allow you to use your factory engine cover.

I've had a set off these since 2017/2018 with no issues at all after finding a coil arcing on the head.

Might be worth a message to Christian, he may still be doing these, he was last active here last year sometime...

Naughtikas kit is great and is the OG but these days the yaris (denso) pencil coils are getting on in years.
The new go to is the audi/VAG group coils (R8 coils)

They clip onto the spark plug and dont require a mounting bracket (provided you slip an oring over the shank of them to support them from wobbling in the head)
And someone here makes a patch harness for them also.
