My New Legnum

Hi all my name is Joe & thought it was time to introduce myself... Blue Legnum!!!

I am the owner of a 97 Legnum VR4 which I bought in Feb this year. After looking at Tiv's car, I have TUFFTR to thank
for the purchase who assisted me in checking the car over & help make my decision!!!!

I bought it basically stock apart from the HKS Turbo timer... It's got 147k on the clock, 5 speed tiptronic but otherwise
in need of a cleanup & some maintance to be done on it...

I got the car home & within two hours of solid cleaning etc... added about $1500 to the value of the car as quoted by Paul!!

I did alot of work myself & like to thank Paul-TUFFTR & the forum for all the wealth of knowledge & help!!!
In all I did the engine oil & filter many times, Trans oil & filter flush, Trans oil cooler, air filter, New brake pads on all fours, Steering rack boots, Fuel filter, New front struts, two rear tyres...

The radiator went about a month later & did a new radiator, thermostat & coolant after flushing the system...

Future immediate plans are lower control arms & major service to be done..

Down the track... Maybe if funds permit... Front mount intercooler, bigger exhaust & tune????

Coming from an Au Fairmont Ghia which can't be compared...
I must say I'm enjoying the car very much & driving it as my daily driver!!!

Yes "I've lost the tow hook cover" but still have mine but won't stay on as tabs are broken from previous owner!!!

Picked up a BARGAIN and the guy could of easily made more money on it, just never kept it clean! But yeah she scrubbed up so nicely....and the colour blue.....Arh so nice! Hopefully serves you for many years of trouble free motoring!

I bought the car off a guy named Luke. He was from Croydon-Victoria so don't know if anyone on here knows him, the car or previous owners???
