Looking to import my very own Leggy.

Will be a bit of a change from my 1970 Fairlane but wanted something that was a little more family firendly (i.e has rear seatbelts)

Looking forward to not having to wind my window down when its raining to demist my car too haha

Btw, has anyone had any experience importing through this mob http://www.directimported.com/

most of us here hav bought through Jspec or IC.

i cant recall anyone using direct imported.

also, hav a look locally, there are a heap round, even in our classifieds

They claim that the car has only done 33,000 km's, with seats that look that shit? I'd be thinking about looking elsewhere mate.

Appreciate the second opinions esp since I couldnt find any feedback about the company.

Any thoughts on the 99 leggy going for 10,900? Good value or too good to be true.

Been in touch with Kristian hoping he might be able to accomodate me with my budget.

Btw great site and keep up the good work.
 
That car does have a few nice things though, I doubt it only has 33,000km on it, unless the owner wore a denim jacket and made lots and lots of short trips!
 
If your budget is around $11k as per the price of that one, you'll be able to find plenty more
 
Yeah, didnt grab me like alot of the others going for around that price.

IF I do decide to go through this direct imported mob ill let everyone know my experience.

As it stands im relying on the imported specialists (listed on this site) to see me through....
 
The standard of written English on their web site didn't impress me much. A lot of missing punctuation, and some very fragmented sentences.
 
Got a response ...

Not surprisingly they dont have that Legnum in stock but another,of which they did provide multiple pics and a price (350,000 FOB).

But little detail in terms of what model, transmission km's etc.
 
Hey Jayson like Paul mentioned most of us including me have gone through J-Spec or Iron Chef.

If you want to import your own stick with one of these dudes.

Just testing this mob out to see if they were as legit as the above .. probably not the right place to do it tho.
 
Why the fuck would you trust 11k with people who are advertising cars that don't exist? Your money man...
 
I think I've given the wrong impression.

I'm not going to go through with it I'm just checking them out to see if they're legit and then advise accordingly on the forum in the hope that someone reads it and avoids them if they are dodgy.

Kinda like the Edward Lee's thread.
 
2 of their Galants listed as "for sale" were sold a few weeks ago. ;-)
 
Hey Jayson welcome mate..as the guys have said stick to Jspec of IC and you cant go wrong..Its good yr checking how doggy these direct import blokes are but if you have a little patience, trust me, the right car will come along. Some times I wish I hadnt been in such a rush to get once and so many nicer ones became available once I paid for mine..
