Need a Fuel pump

What's a good aftermarket fuel pump?
and how much would it be to install roughly.
ive been quoted 275 fitted.
i just got my car back from getting tuned and they said i could boost it higher than 10psi because i need to get a hi flowing fuel pump.
If it was on 14psi and had proper A/F ratios car would be way quicker..
Whats a good price..

my cars on 10psi and is fine.

im pretty sure the stock pump would be fine for 180kw at wheels.

A stock fuel pump will see you to about 190-195kw ATW, which is about the max you'll be able to make with the stock ecu anyway. I think you could go much further than what you're running now.

Yeah , if they are saying fuel is a prob , maybe stick in a diffrent fuel reg (similar price to a pump)

hmm.. il ask my tuners, see what they say n ill get back to you 2mw..
sounds good tho.. my car is running fine on 10psi..
but my fuel mixture is way to rich at low rpm and then way to lean at high rpm..
When i get a proper tune done i'll should be getting round 190+ i reckon..
So it has to be upgraded..

A stock fuel pump will see you to about 190-195kw ATW, which is about the max you'll be able to make with the stock ecu anyway. I think you could go much further than what you're running now.

I just got my emanage put in as well as new spark plugs..
they said to get the mixture right a new fuel pump is needed..
then ill see results

Yeah with all that stuff you'll probably need a fuel pump.

You will prob get a good gain if you buy dump/front pipes too...

Id be getting them before i did a ''final tune''

If you install a walbro pump you will need to "hot wire" it, I think the stock set up supplies 7v and most aftermarket pumps require 12v constant, to run properly. If you do that you will need a Fuel pressure regulator.

Installing the pump, hot wiring it, and installing a fpr isn't hard to do. Carsten (Gly) has some good write ups on all of these in the how to section.

Have a look in the trader section, x3emotorsport have a 'Forced Performance' (Walbro) unit for cheap. Definitely one of the more popular ones running around and should cover what you are after.

You will need a new 'o' ring though, as the walbro pump inlet is 1mm smaller in diameter than stock, so a 1mm thicker 'o' ring is required. Cost me 50c from a supplier
