I have just change the plugs and leads in my baby. and didn't take notice of which lead went to which rear plug. it looks pretty user friendly but i need a second opinion before reassembly..
You will need to find out what coil pack goes to what spark plug. Have you got a picture of your engine bay and I will be able to direct you from there if needed.
Rob aren't all the leads different lengths? Or did you just pull EVERYTHING off all at once?? While I'd love to help, I'm not real big on ripping my intake off tonight...
i just ripped them out in a hurry so i could get to the north side and get the new one made.
i dont think manifolds will need to ripped off just the engine cover and then track them with a torch. :S
ok try this ........ connect the coil to the spark plug opposite it on the other cylinder bank (via spark lead). Start the car if it is wrong the car will be hard to start or will run ruff. Let me know if this dosnt work. I have another theory but it is unlikely to be right.
standing at the front of the engine, looking at the cam belt covers, the pistons are 1 front left, 2 front right, 3 mid left, 4 mid right, 5 rear left, 6 rear right.
yeah mate that is the bomb.... now i am thinking straight and have proven to myself which is the leading bank, i am going to put it together now. will let you all know how it goes
