need help rear boot spoiler removal!!

hi fellas just bought a lip spoiler from ebay but i carnt figure out how to take off the stock spoiler any iders

under your boot lid, there are 2 black rubber stops, unscrew it and you'll see screws, one on each end.. unscrew it.. from what i remember they're 10mm.. before you pull out the spoiler, make sure you unplug wires for the 3rd brake light.. then use a screw driver to lever out the spoiler.. make sure you use/put cloth underneath the screw driver so you don't stuff up your paint..

also strongly suggest you get to autobarn or repco to get blanking gromets..

You got defected for removing your spoiler? When was that?

after the last Mt. Tambourine run we did..

well the 5-0 was gonna give me ticketS for BOV, 3rd brake light & baldy tyres..

he said.. 'since you're talking to me like a gentleman, I'll deal with you like a gentleman' so he just gave me a fine for the baldy tyres since it was related to safe driving.. he nice was nice btw..

Oh that makes sense, I was trying to work out why removing the spoiler would be illegal but I forgot about the brake light in it.

You'll have to post some pics of the lip spoiler when you're done, I'd be keen to see it as it is something I'd consider doing on mine. What car is the spoiler you bought intended for?

its for the vr4 mate just on ebay 42inch bmw style

i see it - looks quite nice looks hard to put on a vr4 without some hefty gluing though

hey guyes i still carnt get the spoiler off i unscrued the 10ms and ther is some sort of clip at the back of spoiler should i just leaver it off or will i break the clips
