Hi guys I'm new here I've been wanting to buy a 1998-2000 galant vr4 for about 6 years now but I'm a bit unsure how good the parts are to get here in Adelaide sa

Also wanting to get into drifting now an kinda consedering getting a s15 Silvia

Can u guys tell me so high lights of a galant vr4 an if u can compare the 2

Hi there the VR4s are great but in terms of availability of parts/upgrades Id say the s15 is better

Welcome to the forum Jamie.

VR4 and S15 are very different cars. If you want a drifter and something that is an obvious "fast car" on the streets, get the S15. The VR4 is more of a subtle, very capable all-rounder (and it drifts all 4 wheels at a time)

You'll have a much easier time finding parts for the S15 but thanks to this forum, it really isn't difficult to find parts for the VR4 either.

Welcome, sir! I think the two cars are completely different, so if you want to go drifting then the S15 is the right choice. If you want driveability and practicality with power and boatloads of grip, the VR-4 is the right choice.

cost of modifying and maintaining would make the s15 a clear winner. Unless you have kids go the s15!

A VR4 is a lot less of a cop bait car than an S15.
