For anyone following along at home- no engine rebuild thankfully!! Cause of the oil pressure issue was just the sensors- wires slashed by a stray frayed AC belt- flickering as the hanging wires touched the sump... Haha!
Needs a lot of work still- but within expectation for a 29 year old car that wasn't really well looked after.

Apart from the early issues with this car, it has been fantastic owning and driving it around. People staring at it (in a good way haha), randoms asking about it and just the rawness of driving it... A nice change, I've had some "nice" cars, a Mazda 3 MPS, a Golf R, the Levorg... But no-one looks twice at them like they do with this.
I second this. The car is not at all common in the states, and the looks have weathered time quite well.
Get random people in parking lots approaching all the time asking what it is.

Other than some personalised plates (and the Fujitsubo exhaust that came with it...), here's the first mod for my Leggy... Out with the old and worn standard shifter, in with the fancy new weighted Billetworkz one!
Still have to get the engine resealed.... Couldn't help myself though...
