I don't think you'll be running 205/60/16 for a start, stock size is 205/55/16 and the facelift stock is 225/50/16.

215/45/17 is wrong. It is smaller than stock. If you want to run 17x7 your best size is 215/50/17, they are slightly bigger than stock.

Do you really have to go with 17x7? Why not 17x8? You can get 225/45/17's on which are the same rolling radius as stock and a much better fit for the car.

brad thanks again~!

cause my car is too low , so i use 205/60/16 (higher)

because i had order the 17X7 and there are 2 choice : 17X7 or 17X9

in my case , i am quite worry about that the rear one will hit the body .
what should i do..

215/45/17 is really small then.

go with 215/50/17 or 215/55/17

the last question : )

if i goes with 215/50/17 (17X7 35offset) , will my rear wheel hit the car body?

my car just got about 10cm between the bottom of the car and the ground...

Cheers~

Now I'm confused.

Looking through this thread and it looks like 17x7 215/45/17 are good.

215/45/17 are ok, as are 215/50/17, but the best option for a 17" wheel isn't a 17x7 wheel and not 215mm wide!

17x8-9" with 225 or 235/45/17 is the best option.

i've got 18x8 +35's with 235/40R18's, and about 100mm clearance under the car, and the rear only just touches the guards, which will stop once they are rolled.

you wont have a hope in hell of anything touching. :p

It is only very slightly bigger than the common 235/45/17 size that a lot of people run.
